Without air we die in minutes,
without water we die in days,
without food we die in weeks …

Without the macro and micro nutrients in correct amounts and in the absence of man made chemicals along with other lifestyle factors  we slowly age before our time and contract degenerative diseases that we are told are symptomatic of ‘normal ageing’.

Many subscribe to the tongue in cheek view of a life well lived — Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways – Chardonnay in one hand – chocolate in the other – body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “WOO HOO, What a Ride”

In reality we all under the right conditions want to live longer – no one would like to put an exact date on ‘when they think their time should be up’.

Life is amazing and if we can maintain good health why would you want the ride to stop?

We reject the concept of aging gracefully, 50 is the new 40 etc. These are things we have fabricated to ‘sugarcoat’ the fact that we have succumbed to the ‘accepted’ view of things. That there is little we can do to stop the inevitable loss of youthfulness as our looks, vigour, body and emotional wellbeing are slowly sucked away as time progresses.

I have news for you, although we have to accept numerical aging as a reality we CAN fight to slow down  the loss of your youthful looks, body,  mind and spirit without chemicals, surgery or magic potions.

Our Quest for Youthful Health

The pictures above were taken at one of favourite close by holiday spots at Noosa Heads in Queensland over a 30 year period . We have kept this record as a way of monitoring changes as the years roll by and whether or not our lifestyle strategies are working to slow down the aging process.

We are not painfully strict or overly liberal regarding what we eat or drink  but probably follow the Pareto Principle – the 80:20 rule – 80% good and 20% a little naughty…

We all want to retain the exceptional feeling and look of youth. There are so many people in their 30’s and 40’s who are biologically speaking prematurely old and there are many who are chronologically older but biologically young – why the paradox??

Premature aging is linked to high levels of toxicity in the body and to nutritional deficiency. Many people are going through a process of accelerated degenerative aging – can you slow this down?
